Matthew Waters was born in Colorado Springs and raised in South Carolina. Mr. Waters began taking ballet when he was ten years old, and at fifteen attended the University of South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory. There he first met and studied under noted ballet teacher Radenko Pavlovich, who invited Mr. Waters to join the Columbia Classical Ballet as a trainee the following year. During his five years with CCB, Mr. Waters had the opportunity to dance in Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Sleeping Beauty, and numerous other classical productions, as well as the LifeChance International Gala. He has also performed at Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston, SC, with the Roanoke Ballet Theatre, and with the Charleston Ballet of West Virginia.
